Off the Hook B&T
What's the weight on the dredge - it appears that metal in the middle is heavy which is good but it hard to tell from the pic. Usually need a weight in front to get them to stay down anyway

Pellicot, not sure on the weight, should be about the same as other titnium dredges, I'll see if I can an exact weight from POONMAN. You'll definetly still need a weight though. I just got it in last week, I'll hopefully get a chance to fish it in Feb In Fla. then I'll have better answers.

Pellicot there is virtually no weight to our folding hub design we had to go one of two way's. {A} Make it streamlined and on the lighter side {B} to make it heavy so no weight was needed we took { A } the streamlined aproach after getting feedback from numerous Captains that pull Dredges for sailfish in Fla and Billfish on the east coast canyons and finding that most add there own weights to suit the desired depth and speed that is applicable for the targeted species. up to 48 oz of lead weight can be very effective {B} would of have been cost prohibitive due to the weight that would be needed and the useage of non corroding alloys, in addition it would have required a very large center hub design to incorportae the extra material Capt. Thanks Poon & Off the Hook - yeah we usually have 1 or 2 leads covered by shell squids to get the desired depth based on speed & conditions. Can wait to see and hear more. Off the Hook do you go to the AC Show in Feb?

Pellicot, I usually attend as a visitor, we don't get a booth. I might be helping in a friends booth though. If your interested in stopping by our shop we're only 40 minutes down the NJ Parkway from the show, or 5 minutes fromj the CapeMay-Lewes ferry, depending on which way you go.
PoonMan, just got the new harpoon this morning, I like the pre-rigged dart much easier to set-up for display.
