    New boat update

Things are moving along here in Wanchese .. we splashed the new rig last week and I had the pleasure of firing up the Cats for the first time and moving her to a slip where she will get the final touches before we take her home. I have to say I was a little nervous with thoughts of what could go wrong while backing her in , not to mention having a crowd watching me. Fortunately, all went well and the new Canyon Runner is getting finished up for the upcoming canyon season... Thursday I ran the 48 Viking back home and those of you that have seen OI with a big east swell an outgoing tide know what I had to deal with .. we made it through just fine but a commercial rig right behind me didnt fair too well and is up on the hill with some major damage.... here are a few pics of the newest Canyon Runner

    Mark,
If you were a little nervous backing the beauty in, thats OK. Because I would have been a whole lot nervous myself. Looking good.
