    If you like the looks/price of the Pinnacle, suggest you support your local tackle shop, stop by and check them out for yourself - then YOU will know if cheap price = cheap rod/performance - IMO best way is always you making your own call.

    If money prohibits new quality rods, get used quality rods. With the money you have tied up in a quality boat, trip costs, boat insurance, slip fees, you don't want to lose a significant fish to cheap!

    A strong recommendation is to have the people that fish with you regularly buy their own damn rigs. It is not written that the boat owner supply equipment unless it is a commercial operation. If your regular crew doesn't want to fish that bad, find some that do!

    Plenty of people drop custom trolling rods regularly with plenty of life in them. Keep looking for them over the long term in stead of having to buy some under the gun.
