Need some help from some MH locals

I am looking to get down to the MH area from Dec 28- Jan 04 for a little family get a way while my wife and I are on break
from work and school. I have a 2 1/2 yr old dughter so not looking to stay in a hotel. Also looking to jump on a boat for a couple of days. Had a trip planned last year but wound up in the hospital suffering from meningitis which sucked. Hoping that one of you locals may know of a clean cheap place to crash. I was stationed down there for a couple of yrs and i love that area.

The Hampton Inn and the Best Western along with the Quality Inn in MHC are clean and farily inexpensive. If you are wanting to stay for a week or more, check the condos called A Place At the Beach in Atlantic Beach. Some of them are renting for as little as $750 per month. I would think that the weekly rates would be much better that time of year.
