Need some advice - Where in the world...?

Well guys, I pulled the plug and am getting married in May 2008. So now for the good news, my fiance loves to fish so it is expected that whereever we go on our honeymoon we will be fishing! So my question is: If you could pick an island or resort to fish in mid-may where would it be? (Hawaii is out). Can't be too remote because R&R is in order but must have world class blue water fishing. So what say you?

Does anyone know the story with the Galapagos? How about New Zealand? Marshall Islands?

    Thumbs up

I got married mid May in Turks and Caicos Islands.

They have great fishing there and the place is beautiful.

    Congratulations

    Eric,

Couple of options that time of year. We probably have talked about this. Costa Rica is still going on. Puerto Aventuras or Cancun will be ok with calmer seas than in the winter.

Or you can go bluefishing on the Last Call in OC, MD

May can still be a pretty hot time down here! We had Frankie down last year on his honeymoon. They had a good trip. A Marlin, bunch of Sails, Big Dorado. Tons of great other stuff for the wife to do. My wife loves it here. Let me know if I can help.

Thanks guys. We've done Aruba, Guatemala, Cabo. Costa Rica may be an option but I was thinking something remote and out of the ordinary. Turks and Caicos sounds great but a couple of my friends have done that. Keep the ideas coming...!

Franky, bluefishing sounds swell but I can always do that at the end of May!! Plus, I don't think you want us on Last Call during our honeymoon...

I would have to say Rum Cay in the Bahamas. It is very remote with some cool beach cottages or a few houses for rent and some good wahoo fishing.

Maybe go down and see Mike in the Osa. It's pretty damn remote down that way.
