    Need help reading RUCOOL/Rofers

Last week a thread was posted titled "Guess where I'm heading" and posted a pic of a sat. service water temp thumb. Well, for us that want to learn please explain what to look for and how to pinpoint locations to fish. I know experience pays dividends on reading these but any help will be appreciated. Wahoo Too

I am by no means an expert, but.....
Basically you are looking for where there is a distinct difference in water temperature. This difference, called "a break", will start to develop its own ecosystem as the two different bodies of water abut one another. As the mini-ecosystem develops baitfish and other things will start to amass on the break. Generally speaking the larger the break the better the outlook, of course fishing is still fishing and one never knows. Now combine a good break of a few degrees or more which is sitting squarely on the 100 fathom curve and that is a recipe for the motherload of tuna. Obviously there is more to it than that paragraph, but thats generally what to look for.

Again not an expert but thats a good starting point for you.

RUCOOL you have to learn to read them
Roffers they've done all the work for you - just go to the dots. The GPS numbers are on the text sheet.
