Just talked to Glynn Loftin from the Frequent Flyer. He said the bite has been very good. Only two boats fished yesterday from his dock. One boat caught 25 and the other caught a dozen or so. He said they fished 3 days ago and caught 27 in 3 hours and the crew got tired and asked to come home. Blowin pretty hard but the runs have been short and the fishing is good.
Heard from BIOPSEA that fishing has been good. They fished for 3 hours the other day and had 15 and missed a few more. Run has been short and all are fishing within sight of the beach (6 miles) I am heading down on thursday, and may bump my flight on sunday to monday to try to catch some smoother weather. We'll see Wish me LUCK!!!

Today we had some tough luck, a beautiful day, calm and sails were coming in there. We caught 18 out of probably 50 or more bites. I think they had fun, mighty quiet, I'm not use to that. I'm use to total mayhem(spelling). If you have fished with me, you know what I am talking about. Have a nice day.
We fished on 1-22-08 with jeff ross on the obession. We went 26 out of 50. I'm sure he could have caught more with a better crew. It was just me my 5year old son and my dad. It was really rough. 7-8 feet. My little boy caught 2 sailfish in the chair with some help. Twice we had quad's on. The fishing is great. Jeff and sean went out of there way to make sure we had a good day. You gotta go to jax's and get the fish taco's.
It's Going Off!
I just off the phone with Capt Fin Gaddy live from the bridge of the Qualifier. The weather has laid out and the fishing is HOT! While we were on the phone he had a double come up on the teasers. Ended up going 1 for 2.
Most all boats are seeing double digits and apparently one boat caught 40 yesterday. Not many birds or bait balls but plenty of free jumpers and fish to be had on the troll.
Calm seas, warm weather, short run & double digit sails.......damn Saturday seems a life time away. I can't get there fast enough.
Got a call from Brian Peele on the Big Hunter. He had a couple dozen yesterday and had a couple dozen today and was still fishin.
Just spoke to Jeff's wife on the obsession and they released 34 and 36 the last couple of days! Can't wait to get down there.
