I am pulling 4 dolphin colors and one tuna color as the last one in the chain, with a pound or two of weight about 10 feet in front of the first pin. Take this as you want, but I trust teasers in any water.

Carolina Gentleman, I think it great you can do that. As I stated earler, I'm in a 23' Boston Whaler and I have a crew of ME. I'm not saying that they don't work, I'm just saying you- I can catch them without all of that. On a big boat with a crew, Yes I use all that, as crew of 1 no I don't, and one more thing, remember this is a near shore Sailfish tournament designed so small boats can fish it...so for me it is the K.I.S.S. rule that I fish by near shore and again, this is what works for me.
A lot of small boat operator's can't afford or don't have the capability ( in my case, my boat does not have outriggers) of being able to pull all of that stuff and I was- am trying to let them know that they do not have to do all that to catch Sails near shore.
One more thing, Again as I said in one of your first posts, Contgs.on the 2 Sails you caught At the Bufort Inlet sea bouy.
