    NC Mako

    I have seen several reports on the internet and on the docks of small but legal makos caught recently. Usually my motto is "to each his own". But I just have to voice an opinion. A mako does not reach sexual maturity until it is over 6.5' long or around 160-170 lbs. If he is not, why not just take a pic and cut him loose. There is always talk or releasing small bluefins but never the mako.
    Not singling anyone out or looking for a heated debate. Just my opinion.
