a friend of mine went to alltackle today and said one of the guys in the shop said if the navy gets thier way, we wont be able to fish the canyons south of the baltimore this summer. i told him thats a load of shit or at least i hope it is. anyway, if i ran a tackle shop i wouldnt be spreadind that kinda word unless it was true. thats bad for bussiness.

no your good even if they expand the area they are not active 24-7 only when they need the op area which usally is a 15nm by 15nm box also they issue a notice to mariners via the coast guard publication a week or so prior and is avail to all the public via the web just do a search for Notice to mariners and you will see the notices for gunnery exercises and just match the lat an long up to see if it affects your weeks plans....also included is the times that the range will be hot.
