n.o.a.a. tuna meeting

went to the tuna meeting in md today. seems like noaa is on the right track. they assured me that the last thing they are gonna do is let our quota be transfered to another country. i asked about redistributing the quota but it seems that is a long proccess.they are still up in the air about what to do about our limits so if you have any ideas now is the time to submit them.
on the other hand there was a terrible absense of fisherman there. beside myself i think there was only nine others and that includes one i brought with me.i hope we all made ourselves heard via fax or e-mail. time will tell.

Well Thanks Rob, to bad the turnout was so small. i thought after all the press that meeting got you would have had a better turnout.

Thanks for showing up at the meeting Rob, and to the other few fishermen that did show up. I was not able to get away to go, but did e-mail my comments. At least it is good to know that they will not let any part of our quota go to another country.
