I 'd settle for a 40 or 50lb grouper any day of the week! Hell I'd just settle for being out there Go get them Jared!

Good looking lures Jared D. Love the red & black one. You might want to consider shaping the heads more to a point in case you want to troll them fast (12+ knots) and keep them in the water. I believe fast, straight trackers catch wahoos.
Even if you find lots of wahoos, please do drop to the bottom and show us some of those slob groupers. Never get tired of them!

    Uggghhh....

So I guess I would have posted if it would have been a good report, I should then post if its a bad report.
We got 10 miles out and lost power. We managed to limp in on half power. I did try some of my lures out (cuz what else can you do when your 10 miles out and heading in at 10-14 knots?)

The best looking one was the one with a yellow head. The jets looked awesome.

The big blue one was great. Smaller blue one (with the yellow stubby as a teaser) looked really good. The small blue one with stripes was spinning alot. Its gotta be completely reworked.

Pink one tracked straight, but it had a slow roll... probably turning over once every 5 or six seconds.
Never got the red/black one in the drink. Next time I will.

I agree with you... I just get tired of shaving them after a while, so they wind up alittle more bloated then I want. The pink one was supposed to be much more "pointy" but with out the lathe, the process is much more involved than it should be.

I spoke to our buddy boat. They wound up with 2 wahoo, one was 40s, the other 30s. The big fish of the day was a high 40s Warsaw. A mid forties Gag, and a low 20s scamp, several pinkies, triggers and B-Liners (Vermillian snaps) rounded out the box. Said the seas were nasty though, and they had to earn each fish! If I get pics, I will post em for ya. This guy had a trip last year with a 80 pound Warsaw, and 52 gag. He has a number that has some pigs!
