Well it looks like it's official. I'm moving to the Turks and Caicos full time to run the offshore fishing section of the Turks and Caicos Sporting Club. This place is literally untapped as far as offshore fishing goes for the most part. The guys that are there now are catching huge wahoos in the 60-80lb. range with several over 100lbs. already caught in the past few months. This place is sick. I went down this past week and caught several mahi, missed a big hoo,and a couple of cudas in 45 minutes of fishing right on the beach. We went surf casting with a Yo-Zuri popper on the reefs and caught 4 mutton snapper,a big cuda, some horse eye jacks, a 15lb.yellowfin grouper, and I caught a 25-30lb. black grouper. This was off of the beach casting topwater on a place where none of the locals ever hearing of anyone fishing before.
This place also has some of the best looking bonefish flats in the world. We saw endless schools of huge bonefish on the flats that have never had any fishing pressure ever. I've been talking with Gottafly Lee on here and we're gonna get him down here to get in on some of this in the next month or so. For the first couple of months, my only job is to fish everyday, explore the island, find fish, and new spots. I can't wait to get down there for good. Just waiting on my work visa to go through. I couldn't get a bunch of pics while I was there, but I got a few. You can check the place out at www.tcsportingclub.com.
