We normaly troll w/ ONE engine to save fuel and it also seems to put out less white water. Occasionally when things slow down we'll run the trolling engine up and throw some water about for a few seconds and make a ton of noise, let the baits settle then go back in gear. Seems to work 1 outta 3 times IF we are where the fish are and have just shut off.

Thanks for the input on this one guys! Next week we are going to play with the motors to see exactly what is happening with two vs. one motor running, tilt angles and the effect on waves bubbles etc. I will post the findind when we return
My experience has been to tilt them up and churn the water for bluefin and run them down for all other species. My friend cathches alot of bluefin right in the propwash with his motors churning the water.
