BROKE THE CODE !
HI:
When I was up there and comm fishing, thats where I'd go for those big whiptails. This time of year, all the decent toothy critters are inshore feeding on those small baitfish that are abundant in there. Ever see the draggers up inside in shallow waters off the fingers(120 feet)? HINT...HINT...HINT.. Figure out where they pull there nets and NOW you know where the draggers throw all that catch o/side 'cause it's to small. HAH, that's your instant chumslick is stared each day. If you get there and then start your slick AFTER the draggers leave(Turn around), the TUNA and sharks will come to your slick. If you try this, please let me know how you do and post pictures. Ancient Mariner,
You are 100% correct! Most fisherman overshoot these fish going to 30-40 fathoms thinking deeper means bigger fish.ut you are right the big fish are in 20 fathoms this time of year. Tight Lines! Capt.Dennis |
