There is an abundance of bait this year. It seems to be everywhere! There are huge amounts of bait both west and east of Beaufort Inlet and all the way from the Sea Bouy to Northwest Places, Big Ten Little ten and the Knuckle Bouy. There are also huge amounts of bait on the eastside of the Cape Lookout shals and going north toward Drum Inlet.
Let me make an adjustment on the bait situation. There has been plenty of bait around all this fall. There has been more bait west of the Beaufort Inlet and on the eastside of the Cape Lookout shoals. Lately there have been smaller pods of bait and has been more spread out east and south east of the Beaufort Sea Bouy.
if there is bait they will come.good news comes in 3's thanks capt joe

Fins & Feathers, I can help you out with any rigging that you may need. I have plenty of horse ballyhoo as well. Our Fish Finder 3 oz. skirts with mylar have already claimed their fair share of the tuna's. We can set you up with all the hot colors. Yesterday there were 4 tuna taken to the docks as well as a few more shorts released. There has already been a short released today but it is still early!
