I have heard that the full moon has a big influence on Blue Marlin fishing and chunking tunas. Im not sure what it does to the other species. I think that berometric pressure has more to do with it then anything. I believe high pressure puts pressure on a fishes swim bladder and makes them not chew as good. Just my opnion

The berometric pressure is the key here Pitch just like you said after viewing my logs,
year after year on a full moon and reading so many books on the subject that I
have noticed that 85% of YFT dont bite and the swords and dolphins go off
the hook at times, and I can hear more free jumping activety at night while on the hook people can go on and on about this matter
