Monster Shark Team?

OK, The 2008 Monster Shark Reg Packages are out.

We have a slip on the bulkhead and are searching for the right BOAT and guys to team up with to fish this years tournament.
My friend and I have fished it for 8 years and are looking for a solid boat and guys to join up with and go for it this year.
We have the slip and there is no better place to be than on the bulkhead in the middle of the action. There are 78 slips for up to 300 boats so they are a hot commodity.

I have all the top notch tackle and gear needed to fish this event right.
Looking for 2-3 guys and a good boat to team up with.

BOOZE; drinking on fishing nights doesn't cut it with this event or us as you can expect sloppy seas and early mornings so if that's your deal it will not be a good fit.
Once final lines are out on last day though, go for it as we will be ready to blow of some steam for sure then.

Good Guys, good boat. fish hard, simple

PM me or call my cell: 617-413-3473 and we can talk about it.
Thanks, JW

You might get a few more responses if you post the dates that you will need the crew for and their expected share of expences IE entry fee, bait, chum fuel, etc ......no bad blood intended just a thought

Is this for OAK's Bluff or something out west? If the dates are right I might be able to squeeze something in my schedule...

"Sloopy seas"? Can't be the OBMST. The past two were more like Snotty, not Sloppy

Guy told me last year that he has been following the farmers almanac on this week every year and it's always the most volatile week of the summer! Not sure how accurate that is but it sure seems dead on. First couple years I fished this tournament in my 26" CC and we got our butts beat good, had some fun but paid the price every year, last year we fished a 37 Intrepid and swamped out the starboard engine coming thru Wasques's just as we were passing Damon's boat that had sprung a fuel leak!. We have fished this tournament in everything from the 26 to a sweet 45 and every year at least one day is a challenge.
Every year there seems to be something to deal with and hearing the stories of the guys who drank all night and tried to deal with the conditions are comical, but I would rather not deal with that

It was covered by Spike TV in 2007, and I haven't heard whether they are covering the tournament again or not.

John, good luck finding a team, if we didn't have a full crew I would love to have you on board.

I fish the OC shark, and Mako Mania every year on a 38' Rampage.... I would definitely make the drive up north from NJ to fish with you in the tournament. I could go about joining with you guys in a few different ways. 1) not be included in the entry fees and just help mate the tournament, or 2) pay a portion of the entrance and other expenses and be included in the stakes. Either way i would love to come give you what i have to offer in terms of shark fishing experience for this tournament. Let me know. I would be more than willing to make the trip up in my truck.
