Just took delivery of our new ride a 39 VENTURE and trailed it up to Marthas Vineyard for the Monster shark Tournament. Friday was a blow out with ten foot seas but we still poked our heads out to see what it looked like and i was nothing but impressed with the ride of the boat it was a tank but the conditions were unfishable so we came back in and caught bait and bottom fish. Saturday was much better for our 68 mile run to the grounds. with seven guys on the boat we caught 42 blues sharks(what a pain in the A$$), an estimated 600lb Tiger Shark, 6 Makos, a Dusky and two Mahi. just one short year ago that Tiger would have been worth some serious money but this day he was just released. we final hooked up to our last Mako at 3:27pm and had an 83" fish boated by three fourty. it was a very skinny fish and he did not make to tournament minimum as he was only 184lb. Still hands down the most productive day sharking ever on the IN$UFI$HENT FUND$.........
