    Niel, do you have any background info? That picture looks strangely similar to one that circulated on the internet for months last year. The fish was taken in Nova Scotia but rumors were spread that it was caught in about 5 different ports, including around the Bay Bridge in Chesapeake.

    I'm not diputing it, but the pic looks familliar.

    Had a friend send it to me said they saw the fish come in. They didn't have a scale big enough to weigh it in Cape Charles and took it over to Rudee.

    that is definately the mako caught about years ago of Novia scotia I believe

    It smelled a little when I caught it last year on a live bait, just outside C buoy. Took 7 1/2 hours on a 130 with double .040 wire. Was a bit tired from all the fighting its been doing, so we didn't even need to gaff it.
