Hmmm the area code for the phone number on the crane happens to be 902 which also happens to be the area code for Nova scotia.

    they are all good
The real story is that mako was caught in the NY sewage system and when they cut it open it had a 12 foot alligator inside and the alligator had been eating rats the size of dogs….

That fish was really caught in 2004 in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. What a beast at 1082 pounds! It amazes me that it has been caught and is still being caught at so many locations around the country. It has even evolved from a mako to a great white in some of the encounters. Funny stuff….Hopefully her twin sister shows up for me at the monster shark tournament this year!

I caught it on its way up to Nova Scotia three years ago in the lower James River in Va while I was cat fishing. Caught it on a 6500 abu with a rhino catfish stick in 7 fathoms of water on a live stiff back with a white and blue islander trolled at 25 1/2 knots against current on a north east wind, barametric pressure holding at 30, slight cloud cover, two days after the new moon, water temp at 67 in the third wave back, near the green/blue water break, 1/2 hour after the tide switch. It was only 998 on my digital hand scale so we let it go.

My Ilanders don't track for sh*t when pulled at anything faster than 22kts and 3/7 of the way up the face of the 4th wave. Can you maybe post a video of how you're rigging the Illander with the Stiff back???? We had one probably would have gone atleast 1200 jump up and bite and hang on the outrigger pole while we were getting hauled out in Deale MD 6 years ago. 3rd fish we saw that day...

It is a prerequisit. As a matter of fact all new fishing permits and license applications contain a box that says "Are you a liar yes or no?" If you circle no then they will may or may not issue a permit or license. Your application gets defered to a committee to determine if you are lying or not. If you are found to be lying then your permit is issued with a probationary period to determine whether or not your VTR's are filled out on time and correctly. This is usually followed by a series of scolding harrassing phone calls.

There is a reason that all the tournaments require a polygraph!

LOL- I got an email from a friend at work today with that picture and some sort of news story out of Oregon about a commercial fishing boat that had it come up behind the boat where they threw a line over the tail...at which point it went ape shit and started to drag the boat backwards...a-la Jaws...after an hour they said it died...oh, and they said it was a great white

You can't make this stuff up...
