Best part of the job, getting to see happy Contender decks from my customers!

Here is the report from EMWACHTEL

Hey, these are some happy contender decks from Tuesday at the monster ledge.

We chunked butter and sardines in 220 feet of water at the Monster Ledge. We had a flurry of action between 10 and 12 and boated 2 keeper bluefin with one weighing close to 50 lbs. All lines had to be above 75 feet due to dog fish. Made it around Sandy Hook and back in Rumson in an hour.

Nice catch. Does anyone know if NMFS changed the limits from the summer which was 1 @ 27-47 and 2 @ 47+? It was amazing how many of those fish earlier this year were 46" Thanks

Pretty sure those regs. are effective through the rest of '07.

Off of good old NJ, never fished it before.

Maybe the long time lurker of the report can make it his post # 2 on SFC and tell us a little more about it, other than I got the email yesterday!
