I like to pull Moldcrafts. Sue me. I think they make great teasers when daisy chained together and on the now and then, when we catch our meatfish early, I don't think there's anything wrong with easing offshore and pulling four or five of them trying to get a big bite. So, I was in Wilmington two days ago and stuck my head into a smaller, fairly well known tackle store near the beach, which will remain nameless. They were charging $37.99 for the senior size (widerange, superchugger, reel tight) AND you had to by the interior skirt seperately!!! For another $7.50!!! Anybody want to sound off on this. As someone who works in the tackle business (and sells the same product for a lot less) this is hard to fathom. I'm not trying to call anyone out or drum up business where I work (hence no names of either establishment) but I'm wondering why. Did our oil crisis (I guess there is a fair amount of petroluem in a Moldcraft) hit the lure market as well? Is rent really that high on that side of town? It's America, and we can charge what we want, for whatever we want, but that theory (along with the horizontal integration of many companies, i.e. those that deal in petroleum) has us teetering on the edge of huge recession/depression. Or maybe I'm just crazy.

. Having to pay for the inner skirt when you get the lure is something too haha. Some shops online sell them for 9$ for the inner so for that its actually better.
. I would be shocked to see such high price on a local shop lol. I remember once seeing a purple wr sell for 45$ on ebay!
