34 boats registered to fish the Mid Atlantic tuna tournament at South Jersey marina. They have a choice to fish 2 out of 3 days. The weather reports seemed to be good for Thursday so all 34 boats fished. Some boats reported that the seas were not as good as predicted. they were fishing in areas with 7 foot waves all day. There were 22 yellowfin tuna weighed in. At the end of the day the boat That's Right, Capt Travis Boon, was leading the tournament with a 3 fish total of 190 lb. Followed by Over the Top and Fin-ess. The heaviest yellowfin category was tied at 69 Lbs Between Moore Bills from Jarretsville,Md and Sea Mistress From Avalon, NJ
