Hey folks - I will be riding along with some of the boats this week during the Mid-Atlantic 500. I would like to thank Captain Rick Carney and the crew of the Cyntinory for allowing me to join them on their first day of fishing. The Cyntinory is a 64 ft Weaver that is available for charter in Ocean City, Md as well as Isla Mujeres, Mexico. For more information on fishing aboard the Cyntinory please visit their website at http://Cyntinory.com
Cyntinory Marine is also a buyers agent for the boating industry. Cyntinory Marine has taken the concept of a buyer’s agent and introduced it to the sportfishing market. We represent buyers in an exclusive capacity, a commitment that lets our clients turn the market in their favor and get the boat they want while reducing traditional transaction costs. Please take a look at their site at http://cyntinorymarine.com
I would also like to thank the folks of Buenavista Sportfishing Lodge in Ixtapa, Guatemala. Buenavista is an all inclusive sportfishing lodge located in the sailfish mecca of the pacific ocean. Please check out their site at http://buenavistasportfishing.com. This is truly one of the best places in the world to learn about billfishing with circle hooks.
Our day 1 of the Mid-atlanic 500 was very uneventful. We managed to raise one lazy white marlin that swam through the spread without showing much interest. The conditions were perfect with decent amounts of bait and some nice temp breaks but the billfish eluded us. Nevertheless we did have a great time and look forward to riding along with them again soon. Here on some shots of the day.
