MHC Tunas, Today 12/5

My dad just called me and told me that there are some fish being caught today. He thought he heard about a triple being fought on the Run Off (now bear in mind that dad's radio skills can be hit or miss, so if this is false, don't crucify me or him, but hell, we all know the Beast's rep, this is definitely plausible)

Damn surveys and a Marlin Club BOD meeting are keeping me here through Friday evening. Oh well, hopefully they don't all get caught before I get there

It's true - bite is on. 30 boats fishing and most boats got bites. Run-offs was fighting a triple header. Capt. Mark broke one off after 15 minutes.

Way to go, guys. Glad the bite has turned on big. No surprise the Beast is on top of the fish, hope that triple makes it in the boat.

I hope all the guys who have been putting their time in down there all get some nice fish today. It should be pretty crowded fishing from now on.

THE RUN-OFF did hook a triple header this morning.

Pulled one off early

Caught the second fish that was 87 inches

Lost the 3rd at the boat.

Their fish dressed at 286lbs

Pretty work Captain Brian and Kurt!!!!

Glad that 1 made it to the market. In the past 2 years I have hooked one double each season. First year we caught one and lost the other due to a critter biting the Islander as it slid up the leader. Second year we caught the pair an 84 and an 87 incher (which was really cool since we already had a 96 inch fish in the boat from an earlier encounter). Give me singles any time. Those multiples on the big fish are tough to handle.

Really glad to hear it picked up today, just wish I was there. Oh well 3 more days and I will be out there.

Congrats to everybody that got into 'em today.
