Well from what Ive been hearing the fishing has been slow.Talk to a Buyer today he said he has seen one in the last 3 days.Its still early i think but with this front we are haveing it might turn them on.............

I just got off the phone with bigblueone an hour ago and he said the only fish he heard of today was a 69 inch fish that was released.

I will take credit for the 69 incher caught another short yesterday. Its the story of my life always a few inches short!

Spoke with our broker, True World Foods, and he said that their were 2 killed today, one 75", one 86". I'm going to try it tommorow with Capt. Jon Tennant out of Holden Beach/Ocean Isle. I was out Thursday and it looked extremely fishy. Birds, bait, porpoises, and albacore everywhere, just no bites. We will let you guys know what happens.

I heard the same thing about the two fish brought in today. I also have first hand news of a few cut offs, since I had to respool their reels tonight. Hopefully the colder weather will bring more fish in. It is still about 10 days to2 weeks early compaired to previous years.

Well today was day one. Headed out around 4am, set the gear around 5am. Worked from the trawler to the knuckle and back to the Shad marked a nice pod of bait and got blasted on the far flat line, blue and white. Came un bottoned . Good day to make sure all the gear was up to speed. Hopefully this weather will shake things up a bit. Wanty to thank Capt Joe shutte for taking care of me so quickly with the reels and the lures great stuff. One of the few shops were the boys can hang and talk smack. You got my business Joe. Im taking Tomorrow off, going to let this front come through and hit it hard starting wed. Hoping for a longer season before chasing the kings. I'll be stopping in tomorrow need some hardware for the down rigger. Lost another planer today, I want to belive it got wacked. 200# braid just doesnt brake. Ken
