I will second the fact that Capt. Joe Shute's is a class operation. Matter of fact, I think my daddy was in there talking to Capt. Joe today, right about the time the 80 something fish was caught.

I had to come home for a few days to take care of some things, but Dad is lurking down there in MHC. I will be back next weekend, hopefully they are biting when I get back. get them rounded up boys. Go get em!

Sunday out of Holden Beach, lot's of bait, birds, porpoises everywhere from 35' of water out to 65. Water temp right, 57-62, unfortunately, no fish. It's just a matter of time before they make down this way. There is entirely to much bait for them not to show up.

Hi Franky, good to hear from you. Yes your father was in my shop when the fishing was going on. I didn't see him today, I don't know if he fished yesterday while the bite was going on. He said that he was going to wait a few days before he started fishing. Hope to see you soon!

I made a mistake the other day when I told you about the 500 lb braid. I didn't know that one of my employees had sold the last of it. I should have more in later this week. I still have plenty of 300 lb. if that will work.

How do you think that will hold up. There's 200 on there now. Im sure it will be stronger. ken

I think that it would prpbably work better than the 200 and it will get deeper than the 500.

I have two hundred specrta on my penn 625s and they have no problem with a 32 planner at trolling speed. Joe, I got tied up on sunday so I will bring you that downrigger on thursday to have it looked at.
