    Have stayed at all three

Old Towne has the best facilities with awesome clubhouse and outside picnic area plus a nice outdoor hottub for relaxing after fishing. No current problem what so ever at the fixed docks and my freind stayed at the floating docks with a 50 footer and never had any problem but he knows how to dock a twin screw. Much more current at the Gulf Docks in town and the charter fleet handles this just fine. MHCYB is awesome also and that is where we stay and is first rate all the way as mentioned in other posts but the facilties are not as big or as good as the Old Town with it's club house and other amenites and is the closest to the inlet of any of the marinas but not much closer than MHCYB. Kit used to be the dockmaster at Old Towne and great guy if he is still there. I like the access to downtown Beaufort and everything is within walking distance as mentioned also if you pick the Beaufort Town Docks. All three are fine places to dock for the season and you should be happy with any of them. If money is not a real big issue then go to Olde Town and get a slip and lease a nice condo and you will have the best of both worlds. That is what a few people that I used to know did that spent the whole winter and part of the spring down in MHC.

MHCYB....I like the fact that it's very accessible from both the water and land....within walking distance to many restaurants and downtown MHC...stayed there season before last and really enjoyed it.

    Good luck!

    MHCYB it is!

Confirmed reservations at MHCYB today. We'll be there until April/May. Hope to get into town next Friday afternoon weather permitting. Dropped of the 80s & 130s with Basil today for fresh JB spectra & topshots. Hopefully we'll get to use 'em...

Thanks again for all the recommendations guys. Stop by & have a drink if you're around the dock. Boat name is NYSE-LY DONE.
