rab - we repowered our Rybo Runner with leftover 2001 250 saltwater series yammies in 2002. With just under 600 hours we have had zip/zero/nada/nyet problems with these engines.

In spite of the fact that these things (any outboard) are about the ugliest thing you can hang on the back of a boat, we gotta admit they are also probably the most reliable thing you can hang on the back of a boat...

I have always had Mercs and never had major problems with any. The EFIs are just as bulletproof as OX66s but faster.

i found a pair of 99' mercury efi 250 with everthing. they have 150hrs on them 1yr old on the rebuilt work great. there asking 6000.00 both, clean and run great what do u think of the $
