Aloha Anders!
hehe, that's Captain Denny! His brother, the late Kenny was the first non-native to graduate, Denny couldn't handle getting beat up so he want to the local college to get his high school diploma. He is still here, he fishes with us now. It is possible to kite fish for marlin, I've seen guys do it, but I have personally never done it. I'm gonna ask around at the harbor tomorrow, i'll get back to you on that one. Thanks again Anders!!!
Thank You Anngler, I agree!
We could sure use it!

I appreciate that Fiore, will do!
Thanks bigfish4me, it is truly beautiful, I try my best to enjoy every moment here and soak it up. Many people have told me that it doesn't get better than this, and I must say, I sure do agree! I appreciate the feedback brother, and I will keep the faith and good work up!
Thanks Gradywhite! I sure do enjoy the great feedback you've been providing!
Aloha Slayer! I hope that you can come and see this place sometime, it is more than meets the eye!
Aloha Robja!!!
I am truly amazed at the diversity this island has to offer. It can snow up at the top of Mt. Haleakala, and be warm and sunny down at the beaches of Lahaina. My family owns a downhill bike business, and they go up to the top of Haleakala for sunrise and then head down the bottom for a 28 mile bike ride, from summit to sea... our office is right on the beach, so they coast the whole way down. Well, we offer the sunrise package, and most of the time people don't realize what they're getting into. 40 degrees F. is considered warm in the morning during the winter months, it can get down below freezing and then some!
I always remember to bring my jacket, and hoodie, although one time I forgot my shoes and brought rubber sandals (in Hawaii we say Rubbah slippas!) and I almost got frost bite on my toes!!! Thanks for the feedback!
Mahalo,
