My wife mary used go fishing with me all the time till kyle was born five years ago and she rezented the fact that I was fishing all the time and running the
the boat couldnt find someone nor would mary let some one watch kyle at that age now that hes five years old I got someone to watch kyle and talk mary to go fishing like the old time so we headed to the doc and took out the
30ft egg it was just the two of us and got to boat at 5:30am and head down
and out of the mansquan inlet and to the monster ledge and glory hole mary
back yard home away from home the weather was great sun was just coming
up seas 1-2 ft and bait pushing false albies jumping around looked great I set
a 9 rod spread out and with mary sitting in the chair just waiting with a great
big smile on her face mary is a great mate and angler to have on your team
can keep up with the best of them I never have to worry whats she doing
as we were trolling I spotted a week line as far as I could see and found a big log and freezer floating I passed by the freeze jus inches w/the lures and
you guessed it whammm both long riggers go off as I turn around at the same time two dolphins jump out of the water one a bull at about 40 punds
and the othe a female at least 20 pounds mary was on the rod befor I could
say anything had port side rod drag set and fighting the bull first good girl
and turn around and told me to just drive the boat and she would handle the fish I said no proble there she both of them and reset the line back out again
trolling about a half mile 7 out of 9 rods go off all false albies mary does all again grinen and smiling now she only want to troll with 4 rod hogging all the fun hey it her day I'am just driving then bam all four rod down 25 - 30 lbs
bft kept one mary loves them by this time we have troll about 5 hours and I;am go thru the monster ledge lopster pot and mary spots a turtle that need
help ther was a storm a few days ago and the turtle got rope tide around it
arm and neck so we pulled up along side and tryed to free him you try to pull
a turtle up that weight around 350 lbs swimin down trying to get away I had
to dive into the water w/a knife in my hand and cut him him loose marywas so happy that he was free what a day she had long over due and she cryed
that she missed be out here boy I hope kyle grow up fast so he can come
fishing with us
