And those of you concerned with TEAM BIG TALKERS, we came we saw, WE FISHED, but we didnt hurt um. Left out blind Tuesday morning, and headed South just below the Georgetown Hole hoping to fined some water. Upon arrival, we realized we had made the wrong choice. With 67 degree water, we quickly went into HUNT MODE trying to find some decent water. We put out the search pattern and off we go. Around Mid day we located some 71 dergee water and we quickly were hooked up with a nice fish. After 20 minutes of give and take and a whole lot of line out we finally started getting some back. But it wasnt meant to be, about 50 feet off the transom we see a flash and the "SLAYER" feels that tale tale sign of a head shake, then nothing. She was gone! Oh well! We get back on em and soon we get another bite. This time our 175 lb single strand wire is clipped like HOT BUTTER. Strike two!! All in all we get five good bites and went 0 for 5. Just couldnt keep em buttoned up. But thats fishing. But at least we were fishing and not making excuses.
