Check this out. A little Blue Marlin came knocking on the Spanish Fly's door. Went right through. I think he was around 150 pounds. I think they are going to leave the bill. Good day inshore for us on Miss Behavin today. 1 Wahoo, 4 Tuna, A nice Roosterfish, and a Snapper on the topwater plug.
Very cool! Poor marlin will have to make do w/o a bill from now on, assuming he wasn't kept.
Nice snapper on the top water. That had to have been a serious strike!

Gotta leave it in! I used to work on an old wooden Whittacar and we sanded down the transom and found 2 bills that were cut off, sanded, and painted over. Very cool
Ask Vince on the Adios about his bill the next time you see him on the docks. They glassed around it and put a little brass plaque under it with the date and location...
Yes Danny is still running the Spanish Fly. Here is a shot of the outside. I'll go check out the Adios tomorrow. I think the little Blue did not swim away. Caught another nice Snapper on the same plug today.
