I know I have a big Job on my hands right now getting the site back on track.
But some things come first and foremost.
Some of you here are new and really wont understand why this is so important.

But im going to tell you and some of you old guys damn well know the importance of this.

BARTA BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB!
For years SportFishermen.com was able to send this charity 7, 10, 21, 25k

Cynthia Barber for those who have meet this woman know she is one of the most amazing women with a massive heart for the Boys and Girls Club.
Many don't see it. Many don't see the time she puts in year around to make sure money is raised for the kids.
Dave Sikorski, Fred Cory and MANY other volunteers take a week out of there lives to travel to NC and work setting everything up.

Captain Lee "Gottafly" Parsons and many others here have continued to step up to the plate to help.

Reality is My issues with my past partner screwed a charity over.

Reality is the kids of NC are not getting a big donation they have received for years now per SportFishermen.com

Over the last month or so when me and Renato aka Jer realized SFC may have been something of our past we knew one thing we had to do was help the Barta Bill Fish tournament no matter what was going on in our lives.

Rising Tide Media, Renato, and John Eppehimer are Proud to first present the Barta Boys and Girls Club Tournament with a brand new website.

After watching Tred Barta show the world that you can over come anything it really makes you understand alot more about the man.
Amazing hunter.
Crazy and can be and a bit rude at times.
Cocky as all hell at times.
But has a heart of gold.
Do I understand Tred ? Nope
But I know the man is in North Carolina in a wheel chair doing his thing.
He has shown so many that getting down on your luck is no reason to not push on.


So.....I would like to present Barta Boys and Girls with a Brand New Website to take them into the future.

I have also just made a paypal donation of $2,000.00 and have waived all fees associated with the website of 2,000.00

That's $4000 total.

I ask those of you new and old to please help Sfc get back on track with helping one of the events that has been such a great part of this family.

You are awesome. I was in the Barta tent just a little while ago when Dave Sikorski told Cynthia about your AWESOME donation - This is one time that it was great to see a grown woman in tears - Tears of happiness - You made her day for sure.

Everything you and Jer and others have doen over the years has made a difference in the lives of some kids who really need the help.

Sportfishermen.com and the members have always been huge supporters - and for that, a HUGE THANK YOU.

This tournament is special - it is one of 8 tournaments in the NC Governor's Cup Billfish Series - but more importantly is is a great chance for families to fish together - whether in the blue water or backwater - And at the end of the day - the tournament directly supports the Boys and Girls Clubs of Coastal Carolina - 3 Clubs - Morehead City, Beaufort and Havelock.

Kids are our future - and the Boys and Girls Clubs is a great way for these kids to get an UP in life.
