    Mako Report 6/11/07

Had a great day yesterday sharking. Fished a little over 40 miles off of cape may in 110 -140 feet of water. Water temp was 65 -67 all day. One brown and three makos. Kept one fat 120 lb 64½ inch mako for the table. Released the brown (80lbs) and the other two makos (120 & 150+). Flat clam but a good 1.5 knot drift. Didn't see another rec boat from the time we left the inlet to the time we came back to the dock.

Sorry no pic of the brown. I have caught one in the 80 - 100 lb range during each of my last three shark trips. I think there were a number of them landed during the sj shark tourn. Normally we don't get them until the water is a little warmer.
