My self and three of my team are the ones that envented thoses bars and built
them for everyone back in 1980,ya right here in Brielle NJ how soon everyone
forgets when you build they will copy

Just kidding - I knew bars originated down in Jersey, but I never knew where. That's pretty cool.

I remember when I was a little kid, we bought our first bar from Frank Johnson from moldcraft out of the back of his station wagon in the parking lot of Barnstable harbor. They weren't in shops yet, but they were the big secret thing. Probably 82 or 83 - I was 10 or 11 yrs old.

Maybe one day I"ll show the evolution of the spreader bars and how many we made and ones that turn into daisy chains and with screwdriver handles as
teasers, they all laughed and though I was crazy back then, when they saw
them. now look how long it took most to catch on it good to be KING

I remember our first set of bars from back then.... we fished three all off of bent butt 80W's
I'll never forget the first fish .... It looked like a volkswagon exploded from under the spreader. many doubted they would work ...till they saw them in action. I forget where they came from.
