Lower Bay.... BIG stripers are here!

I know most of you guys up the bay are starting to wind down your season, but our season down here is just getting started. The last day I fished was saturday and we caught this 48''er in the picture here and a couple others on eels. We are seeing more and more of the trophy fish every day on the eels. We are just starting to see our ocean school fish showing up consistently as well. We are also catching plenty of 40-48'' fish on our night time eeling trips and it is literally all you want on 18-28'' schoolies at the bridge jigging.

There are very few boats in the Virginia Beach area that do eeling charters. Last season, we had 63 fish eligible for a Virginia citation between dec 1 and feb 1. I bought that boat in July. She is a completely restored 1966 Ray Davis.
