Los Suenos Costa Rica, Inshore at its best

Good afternoon. As always its hot as hell here in Herradura Bay at the world class Los Suneos Resort and Marina. The bait is stacked up offshore and the sailfishing is good and going to get alot better when the Pez Vela decide to come on hot like 05 and 06. We had the Pleasure of having the President of East Carolina University and his wife along with Terry Holland joined us for a day inshore fishing across the Gulf from Los Suenos Marina for Rooster and Sanpper. This lady was as proper as one could be but she did not give up on this 60# + Rooster fish. Go Pirates!!!! Costa Rica has a diverse inshore fisheries and with live blue runners and the proper knowlede of the area it makes for a red hot day in the gulf. Check out the pics.

wow!!!
i am scheduled to arrive friday. i would love to go after some roosters or grouper and snapper. or all of the above. does anyone do afternoon only charters? i am pretty sure my group is all set for saturday and sunday but we have a free afternoon friday. thought that might be a good opportunity to try for some of those inshore species. any info would be great.
also, just in case, i am bringing a cheap ugly stick and a surf reel along with some plugs and metal. am i wasting my time or might i snag something if i walk the beach?

Yes we have a few boats that are rigged and ready to take you and your guests out for the afternoon. Just tell me what day you would like to fish and I will be glad to help you. Do you have accommodations? As far as the surf reel I would say keep it at the house. We have all the hardware you will need and its all top of the line. The only thing your going to snag on the beach is a 5'1'' Tica girl. Look forward to serving you for all your Los Suenos fishing and travel needs.
