    Los Suenos

    Howdy all,

Lookin for insight on boats in the Los Suenos Marina. Heading down the end of March with my wife and another couple and we'll be staying right there. I'm the only real fishaholic. Billfish would be the groups 1st choice but i'm not sure whats hot at that time of year. Any first hand insight would be appreciated.

    Thanks

Fished out of Los Suenos in December of 2009 on a private boat. El Nino had the area all messed up and the fishing was slow. Fished 2 days with only Mahi in the boat. Put out a call on this site and the captain of the charter boat Tunabite responded and let me know where I needed to go. Went out the next day and he had put me on the sails! Don't know his name, but I was grateful for his help. Haven't personally fished with him, but will go with him the next time I'm down that way.

Have a blast when you are there! CR and Los Suenos are as close to heaven as I can imagine.

We have fished with my friend Howard on the Tunabite for the past 3 years. He will definitely take you to where the fish are....and guaranteed a good time!

I have worked in Los Suenos as a Captain for 8 yrs. You are going to be there at the best possible time. You cannot go wrong on the Dragonfly, Capt James is one of the nicest Captain on the charter dock. If he is booked any of the Fly boats will put you on the fish. Good Luck.

I will second the praises of Capt. Mitch on the Shotgun and Capt. Howard on the Tunabite. I have also fished with Capt. Dave of the Miss Behavin- Great guy and a cool rig- he took great care of me the times I fished with him. Have fun down there!!

    What a Great site

A big THANK YOU to each and every one of you that responed. I will do my very best to capture as much fish-p0rn and share it with you all upon my return, although ... If Im really lucky (or smart) I just might stay after hearing what its like.

    All the best

ps I had no idea the system would flag and omit "p0rn" (caught it on the preview) well thats a zero in place of an o.
