I had the Ryan Taberner CHarter form Philadelphia out last night for a day troll which turned into a night chunk.
We got a late start and left around 8pm. My thoughts were the Balt. but decided to head alittle south and look for the water. We found 70 degrees down near the Poormans close to the 100.
Trey from Over Under was anchored up and due to the late leave time and nice seas we drifted. Trey Had picked a few through the early eve. We had a ton of bait, tinkers and squid (for about an hour) and we bagged on 35 YFT. We had a bunch of Mahi through the next few hours and ONly One More 55# YFTat sun up that we picked off right at the 100' edge.
RIde home was great and Ended the day with 2 for 3 YFT, 5 Mahi.
I thought the YFT would be all over the place down there, But it was really just a pick?? Maybe we did not go SOuth Enough??
Oh Well, Capt. Andy is out tonight with SPencer and Probably going to lay up SOuth, again, Were WHo KNOWS???
I wish I had more info. I think the LFT Troll Bite has kicked off alittle, as Trey and a few others got some early in the day.
