We left today in 5-6 seas breaking the inlet about 3:30am, headed for the Spencer Canyon.
DUe to the direction of the sea, it became alittle more comfortable heading towards the Wilmington, So off we went.
Dropped lines in at the 40 and trolled in. Found alittle break and worked the area. We managed 1 nice dolphin, and then got a triple header LFT bite.
Boated all 3 and then they disappeared. Could not buy a bite the rest of the day.
The weeds were just plain UNBEARABLE and the lines spent more time covered up than working.
73.5-74.5 degrees, water is moving south,
Seas layed down nicely and made for a great afternoon. We will be out overnight tomorrow,
Catch um up...
Phil,
