Liquid Gold Miami Sword report 2/20

Last night we did a crew trip on the Liquid Gold in prep for the next 5 nights which we have booked for sword trips. Whatever little wind there was inshore certainly didn't carry offshore and we were greeted with very nice conditions. Like the last time we were out, it didn't take very long and around 8pm we hooked the first fish that hit a squid at 125' on a balloon. Morrie hooked up the harness and give it hell and had a frisky 60" fish next to the boat in a matter of minutes. However the fish had other plans and ripped off a series of jumps and then another 100yds off the reel. 15 minutes later Capt. Jason Neadel sunk the gaff and we had a nice 60" fish in the boat. We cleaned up and packed the fish out on ice and headed home early satisfied with the amount of meat we had! Hope to have some more good reports for everyone as we should be on the water every day into next week!

Nice Fish! That Hydra Glow for mood lighting adds a nice touch.

NOT a hydroglow! its a swordlight, if you haven't seen one you should check them out. I used the hydro for a few years and borke them quite consistently, i have yet the break a swordlight, very reliable and durable!

Thanks, Is that a Blue color? Looks a bit shorter and brighter than the Hydra Glo as well.
Do you mix colors on your baits? Blue, green both? Inquiring mind want to know.

looks like you guys are slamming the crap out of the swordys.

do you drop that light down with the bait, or use a small nightstick?
