Left the dock at 3:00 pm Saturday me my father, and 2 others arrived at the Spencer at 6:00 pm started trolling toward the Lindy picked up one Longfin. Set up the chunk at 7:45 in 475 feet of water, the fleet was a half mile inshore of us. Within an hour of chunking massive amounts of big squid began to show up in the lights like I have never seen before, we netted and jigged about 200. The squid stuck with us all night until the tuna started biting. Around 2:00 am a blue shark came into the slick and took a butter 200feet down. We missed a tuna on a butterfly jig around 2:45 at around 3:30 I get a run off on a butter 50 feet down. I fight the fish to the boat 1 in the box from then on out we had about 20 bites losing some and keeping our limit of 12 headed back to the dock at sunrise with boxes full. Unfortunately no pictures because my camera guy bailed out.
