Lets go fishing Guatemala is hot and Panama

Got a group going to Guatemala in mid to late January fishing on a nice diesel Sportfisher. So far we got 5 looking for 3 or 5 more. Great deal and Great boats. Just an idea of how hot the fishing can be in Guatemala--the Presidential Challenge just wrapped up before Thanksgiving. Twelve boats in the tournament let go 676 sails along with six or seven blues and a stripey in three days of tournament fishing, and the top two boats had over 85 releases.

Plus, the fish were located between 40 and 50 miles from the marina--had they been just a little closer and the fleet given a bit more time with lines in the water, those numbers would have increased substantially.

It's not always this good but when it goes off, Guatemala can be incredible.
