Reports mention the lure was rigged with a single mustad 7692 hook as well. The biggest size 7692 is what, 10/0? and it's lighter wire than the 7691 too. You'd need a real careful touch wiring a money fish that big on one.

PS. Just watched the video. That was some deft wiring there, and well taken gaff shots too. Well deserved win!
