I guess its that time of year again to start pushin for some trips here... I've had enough fun running around the east coast chasing other peoples fish and its starting to get to be a very special time of year here.
Fall is one of the forgotton secrets of south Florida... The kids are back at school, the toursist are all gone, best of all the fish are here with very little pressure on them.
Obscene amounts of small bonitos and tunas keep the action lively between the mahi and early sailfish bites... Each passing day brings with it more and more fish. Bait, both mullet and flyers are thick. The fronts that do show up are pretty mild for the most part. Swording at night is outstanding and the relative calm this time of year affords us more nights that we can get out and do it right...
Out in the deep we even find some yellowfins and some stud dolphin on our combo troll / sword trips.. The schedule is filling in pretty good but we have some room if you let me know early enough...
For the rest of the world we are raising the rates to help offset rising dock and insurance. But for my SFC family I'll stick to the ones we have advertised...
November is starting to fill as is December. I don't want anyone to miss out on dates you want so let me know...
Yes I do Bimini trips... They really can be at any time with enough advance notice... Last year we did May which was ok for the bottom but the top wasn't as good as we wanted. We do Chub starting at the end of March and through April. The fishing there is off the charts good!!! I mean obscene!!!
Bimini we have a nice place to stay and the rates are reasonable. Chub has flattened and rebuilt into a first class facility and we are trying to negotiate how we can make the trips affordable there...We should have something worked out before long and I can start taking bookings...
On the local front the swordies are kicking into high gear when the seas permit... The fish seem to be running good size and while not mad dog 10 fish plus nights its still plety good. Havn't had the chance to pop out any bigger stuff for combo runs to see whats around but its commin...
I'm getting a ton of requests for November... That's absolutely great but I need dates fellows. I would hate for twenty people all show up and want the same days...
Mid december is looking pretty full already. I think I'm gonna stay close to home and open a few days around Christmas to new years instead of my usual keys thing...
I'm also going to keep blamathon in my back yard this year so that opens up late November and early December... So there's some spots lets fill em so I can concentrate on dialing the finned ones in for your arrival!
