Question Lee Wishbones or Rupp Sidekicks?

Anyone have either of these outriggers installed on their boats? If so, could you provide me with some feedback. Do you canyon fish? Would you recommend these outriggers for canyon fishing? Are they easy to drop for fishing? Are you able to lower for bridges? Any recommendation?

I purchased the Lee MX Pro's but they appear to be overkill, difficult to install and cosmetically unattractive...on my boat. They appear to be awesome riggers, just didn't work out for me...

    Feedback greatly appreciated.

    huh?
I'm using Lee Juniors (wishbones) on a 23' GW W/A, routinely fish the canyons and they're fine. Very easy to lay out in the fishing position. Also, very easy to lay fwd or aft for bridge clearance. They are best laid fwd for trailering ... just tie up to bow rail with something under to cushion the riggers. I have zero complaints with the Lee Jrs.

I just put the juniors. on the boat with 19' x-strong poles, no spreaders. Buddy of mine has same set-up but with 18 or 19 reg poles. I've noticed not as much bend with the x-strong although they're somewhat heavier. Mine and his are double rigged.

Forked out some money this past winter. Got Rupp boss radials with 18' standard poles. Hard top wasn't strong enough to hold these even with backing plates, so I opted for the Lee's. The set of Rupp poles would have fit they sidekicks but the holders were $300 more than the Lee's so I opted to try and sell the set or Rupp's instead of a part. So price is the only comparison I can make between the two.

Rupp is great with correspondence. Must have called half dozen times, always someone to talk to. Lee's? That's another story.
