Latest Info on Circles for NC Gov. Cup

It has been proposed to delay the official rule change for ALL tournaments to begin in 2008. However, nothing "finalized" yet. Here is a copy from an e-mail that I received today regarding circles as they pertain to the NC Govenor's Cup Tournaments. The way I read, it looks like no matter what the feds rule, 2007 NC Cup Tourneys will require circles on dink baits.


"We don't know anything yet and will probably not get an answer until we are in Hatteras in the middle of May. We have asked the tournaments to require circle hooks for light tackle (less than 80 lb main line and 200 lb leader) even if we get the delay.
I will let everyone know ASAP!"
