    Late Report....Thursday outa Oregon Inlet......

fished the SAMAMANNA out of Pirates Cove Marina. Did a make up charter and met some great guys out of Virginia and Raleigh NC.

Bite was slow at the POINT but chatter on the radio made us feel things would pick up. First knock down came and a small 15ish lb YFT was decked. Continued to pick at the bites throughout the day. Ended up boating three more up to 35 lbs. Two diffrent times we had a triple and a quad hookup but only produced one fish each.

Fished "FRED ARCHERS RUCKUS RAISER/JT Special" off the TEASER and our first three bites came from the flat fished just beind it. Green and pink seemed to be the hot colors.

Captain Huck Harris and Bryan worked hard all day to find the fish and keep us on them. 1st class operation and a pleasure to fish with two truly nice guys. I would definetly recommend them to others looking for a charter in the area.

Cant wait to get back up there and try the kite. Saw a couple boats using them and I understand the bites are awesome to see with tunas skying on the Yummee Flying Fish.

    Put up some pictures later...........

    Ace,

Great shots of those beautiful Carolina boats. My God, they are not only classic, they are downright gorgeous! Right at the top of the best looking battlewagons in the world. So good to see them again...thanks!

I'm sorry if our products seem pricey to some. We do our best on that sort of thing and in many instances our prices are actually quite reasonable due to the fact that we do not sell dealers or distributors, but consumer direct only. So in essence, our prices are wholesale ones. Yes, some people beat us on purely a price comparison, but they make what they make and we make what we make and we all try to charge what we deem to be fair prices that allow us to build good, quality and innovative products.

We also have a responsibility to ourselves and our fellow employees and even our customers to charge enough so that we can remain in business and be there if and when our customers need us - something that isn't happening with all too many good companies in this terrible economy. Thanks to a lot of loyal and good customers we have been in business for nearly fifteen years now and intend to stay that way no matter what - or at least we sure hope to.

Something that we don't crow about is the fact that we offer our legitimate charter captain brothers (we have all been there and done that) a ten percent discount on any of our products that aren't on sale.

We have also given away literally many thousands of dollars worth of our products, mostly books, to the membership here, while making the contribution to our Lab Rescue project that would have been made if those books had been bought.

We try and will continue to try to show our support and care for this wonderful website in the ways that we can.

And I will get a shiver up and down my spine every time I see picture of those Carolina beauties!
